About the brand

Joseph & Sue was founded in Los Angeles, California, bore roots in Oakland and is currently based in Seattle, Washington. Designs are inspired by the unique, eclectic cultures of these three cities.

Our stuff:
Inspired by people and places we love, we make each item by hand, from pencil to print. Our shirts are printed using water-based, sustainable and biodegradable inks. Every piece is produced ethically, completely sweatshop-free and child labor-free (see our promise below).
About me:
I'm Anabel, and I make stuff inspired by people and places I love. Joseph + Sue are my folks and the namesake of my shop. <3

+ Everything in our shop will always be printed on items that were made ethically, by employees that are treated with dignity, paid fair wages and who work in safe conditions. All of our partner companies are WRAP certified. What is WRAP you ask?

WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is a globally recognized, independent 3rd party certifying body whose mission is to promote ethical, humane and lawful conditions and practices in all manufacturing facilities. Companies accepted into the WRAP organization go through an extensive application process in which manufacturing facilities, working environments, and worker's rights are inspected and approved by the WRAP association. WRAP certifications are awarded based upon both internationally and nationally accepted humane workplace standards, local laws, and ethical manufacturing regulations.
